Service Times and Location

Here at Power Of Faith Church, we welcome you with open arms. We are excited to have visitors join us and look forward to every opportunity to share our hospitality and love. Power Of Faith Church is located at 3910 Atlantic Blvd., Jacksonville, Fl. 32207.

Our Sunday School Service begins at 9:15 am and our Worship Service starts at 10:15 am.

Our services are also being streamed online each Sunday for those unable to attend in person. You can watch those here at 11:00 am.

 

When You Arrive

  • Parking

    • Parking is located in the back of our church. Feel free to park in any of the empty parking spaces. 

  • Entering the Building

    • From the back parking lot, you can enter the back door and walk up the stairs. Once you enter the church, there is a hallway to your left. Walk to the end of the hallway and make a right. The doors of the sanctuary are located to your right. You will be greeted by a member of the church or an usher. Welcome to Power of Faith Church. 

    • From the back parking lot, you may also walk to the front entrance. Once you enter, the doors to the sanctuary are straight ahead. You will be greeted by a member of the church or an usher. Welcome to Power of Faith Church.

 What’s Sunday Service Like?

  • Each of our Sunday School teachers has completed workshop seminars on expository preaching and leadership. Each teacher will teach for a month and prepare lessons from the Standard Lesson International Sunday School book. During each lesson, we encourage participants to share their thoughts and actively engage in the lesson. We believe that Sunday School is a place to ask questions and interact with the bible as we learn more about God’s purpose for our lives. 

  • Worship service begins with a prayer from one of our leaders followed by musical selections from our praise team. Our church clerk provides the congregation with our church announcements and welcomes all visitors. During this portion of the service, we also participate in the church offering. Upon entering the building each visitor will receive an offering envelope and visitor card, visitors are not obligated to participate in the offering but may if they choose. We do ask visitors to fill out the form so we can connect with you after service. The offering is followed by another song selection before one of our pastors comes before the congregation to teach a lesson from the bible. At the end of the service, we welcome visitors to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, ask for prayer, and/or join the Power of Faith Church. If you choose to participate you will be asked to stand and one of our ushers will escort you to the front for prayer. 

  • Children’s church is led by members of our Youth Department. It begins after praise and worship. In each class, teachers prepare and teach biblical lessons, offer arts and crafts, and provide a snack for children. We allow children 10 and under to attend Children’s Church. 

  • Baptism occurs every 5th Sunday. Participants will participate in a Baptism class the morning of and Baptism occurs after worship service. Each participant will receive a Baptism certificate.

  • We partake in The Lord’s Supper every 1st Sunday. Participants will receive a communion cup which includes Concord Grape Juice Blend and Unleavened Wafer. Once everyone is served our Pastor will lead us in Holy Communion where we show overflowing love and gratitude to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for atoning for our sins.
